CernVM Co-Pilot provides a distributed computing infrastructure for the LHC@home 2.0 project. LHC@home 2.0 is a volunteer computing platform for physicists working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) - the world's largest particle accelerator - at CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory. LHC@home makes it possible for everyone to contribute to the research carried out at the LHC, currently LHC@home 2.0 has thousands of users from all over the world:
